LED light therapy is a painless, relaxing, non-invasive skin-care treatment that has multiple benefits - particularly stimulating collagen and treating mild to moderate acne.
LED treatments work by using an array of bright light-emitting diodes that send low- level light energy into the deeper layers of skin.
Red light LED stimulates cellular activity, including the fibroblasts that produce collagen, which gives young skin its plump look.
This helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, treats sun-damage and stretch marks, and reduces redness after more aggressive treatments.
Results are not as drastic as plastic surgery, IPL, or laser, but it's a gentler, more natural, less expensive route.
LED BLUE LIGHT THERAPY
Blue light LED is effective at minimizing the acne papules and pustules.
(Stage 2 and Stage 3 Acne)
LED Blue works by killing Acne P Bacteria (Protactinium acne) - the bacteria that lives below the surface of the skin and is responsible for the spread and worsening of acne.
Treatment Plans
Both are highly effective when part of a series - usually 6 treatments, 1 -2 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance treatment every month or 2.
