This blend of Glycolic and Lactic Acids will give your skin a younger, firmer look.
A derivative of sugarcane, glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), a group of naturally occurring “fruit acids” that can be found in foods.
AHAs work by loosening the glue-like substance that holds dull and dead skin cells on the topmost layer of your skin, revealing newer, healthier skin.
Glycolic acid can penetrate into clogged follicles and pores to dissolve the sebum blockage.
Lactic acid is derived from sour milk and is an alpha hydroxy acid- like glycolic acid, but is much gentler and helps the skin maintain its ideal PH factor.
Lactic acid helps to remove germs, dead skin and toxins from the skin and appears to lighten dark spots.
*People who have glycolactic acid peels are often amazed with the results – they look younger, with fewer fine lines and wrinkles and if they have acne, they often notice their skin is quite a bit less oily and is much clearer.
*Often, one glycolactic acid peel isn’t enough. You will usually be given a series of treatments over a prescribed period of time.
